None of Us Have to Be Here

"None of us have to be here, yet all of us are."

An existential quote I jotted down.

It's author? I don't remember, but in Googling the origin, I came up blank. A befitting answer to an age old question: Why am I here?

To the teller at Bank of America, who asked me if I had yet discovered my purpose, to all the people I know who seem to have themselves already packed, wrapped and shipped, I'll start here by saying, I'm still figuring that out.

So bear with me while I lay out my journey; while I follow the curves and climbs of the mountain. If I ever get there, I'll let you know. In the meantime, I'll keep double-spacing between sentences, because it was drilled into my head in Ms. Fleming's typing class. Period. Space. Space.

Here's hoping this space will keep me on track.
